I know I'm delicious but apparently word has spread to the mossie communty, apparrently i Make a tasty supper! My this is the most itchy and painful insect iffliction I have ever had the pleasure of enduring. Bloody mossies! The worst bit is I'm all alone and there is no sypathy! Like even the devil needs sympathy according to the stones!

Kidnapped by a cabbie

So we had about 3 hours free before going to the airport. So that ment it was time to see the sights - we had been offered a tour of Bangkok on a tok tok the day before for 100 barht (about £2) today however we were offered a 1 hour tour In a taxi for a mere 20 barht (40p) some people may become a little suspicious of this 'too good to be true offer' but not us - head first we go. When we get in the taxi we are then given a quick flick through a bunch of photos with mr cabbie I'm thinking are these photos of your previous victims - most serial killers like to keep soveniers!
Our seamingly unbeliveable off seamed alright, we were first tAken to a temple, ok - could have gone in side but that too was a whole 20 barht and we wouldn't want to go crazy! So we stood out side for about 10 minutes while some crazy old lady tried to sell me fish in a bag (bit like when u win a goldfish at the fair) take some photos and head back to out friendly taxi driver.

Our lovely ride, next we are told 'I help u out u help me out' hmmmm then a detour we head towards our next destination bieng told 'you don't have to buy, u just go in and I get a coupon' what is this man blubbering on about? We park up to the words. 'Many many tourists' (have been killed here i'm thinking)
We escape the confines of the cab to beconfronted by men with machine guns, it seems i will not be proven wrong! The gunned men and some silk clothed ladies ushered us into the building where we were kindly offered a refreshment, we declined as it was clearly laced with somthing, we then were escorted into a factory type room and all became clear as we were in some mind of poshjewellery shop humm I will not be purchasing your Thai saphires I'm afraid!

After our tour of the many expensive items for purchase the tour lady got the hint that we would not be buying! And we were on our way ( via the gift store selling crocidile skin bags, ivory necklaces ( in a country that worships the elephant!) and the most vile stingray skin wallets!!! Humph!)

Fashion is pain

These pretty red shoes may look cute and very much 'toto I don't think were in cansas anymore' but actually they are evil torture devices!





My feet are no longer their friends and will not be coming out to play!

Buying time

Off to the wholesale markets in a minute, with our Thai helper 'mint' haven't seen her in about a year so it will be nice to have her about today. I woke up on time today but looks like somebody over slept *funny* .

This is our safe transportation from the Market I'm suprised we didn't fall out - their was 3 of us and 2 massive bags of shopping in the back of the tok tok! Nipping in and out of 4 lanes of traffic :)

Beautiful charms

So my trip to town today I found some really pretty necklaces In miss selfridges and there were in the mid season sale *yay* I bought 2 but I could have gone crazy!



This one has two chains, one with pearls and the other is a small link chain with a twist to it, higher up on the chain is a ribbon bow and leaf charm. The main charm is a delicate heart locket with a vintage style floral heart cabachon. I think this is a really nice summer necklace which will go with many of my vintage dresses.
A mere £3 from miss selfridges in the sale


So this is the second necklace I picked up, it is a shorter chain than the first. I was onbviously going to have this one as soon as I noticed the red love heart I was sold ( I'm so obvious) can't wait to wear it - love hearts make me smile :) and so did the price £2 again from miss selfridges

Today I am wearing my newish primarni dress - I love the fabric it is a cream and blue horizontal stripe with vintage florals. It's has a cupped bust with a fitted waist panel, sweet buttons down the front and a full skirt.

Sunday shopping

Had a quick mosey around the shops in Watford - not a lot happening, primark was probably the most exciting shop, I think it's the time of year all the shops are on sale and are full of holiday basics. Lots of florals about and polka dots, new look seemed to be still rocking the sailor look? Ice cream colours are every where. Walked through

Florals not Frumpy

So I got out of work early which was nice- gave me a chance to get the last few things I need for my work trip next friday, I snuck into the charity stores to see if I could find any hidden treasures - I found this lovely summery floral tee dress, It is by ST Micheals - I have to say that I am always finding gems by Marks and Sparks from days gone by! what happened M and S?? its almost like they lost their way some where in the eighties (rip St Micheal!!)

New Purse/ Clutch

Bit of a impulse purchase....*oops* But I love it!!!! I just snapped up this purse by Red or Dead, It is satisfying my obsession with massive purses! - It's about 12" long (so basically is a clutch) It has a leather exterior, with the cute seaside design. Which is all very nice but when you unkiss the lock there are two mini kiss lock purses sitting inside!! So adorable - this is when I was SOLD!!! I am quite excited about showing it off....Yay new purse!! And pretty amazing price only £22.99 which I was pleasantly surprised with. I was expecting it would be much more.
